Privacy Policy
Lumar is a camera. It does not collect information about you.
Last updated October 10, 2026
In short
- Lumar has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics.
- Photographs and videos are processed on your iPhone and saved to your own photo library.
- Lumar does not send your photographs, your location or any other personal data to the developer or to anyone else.
What Lumar accesses, and why
| Access | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Camera | To make photographs and videos. |
| Microphone | To record sound with video. |
| Photo library | To save what you shoot, to show it in the app, and to reopen a Lumar photograph for editing. |
| Location (optional) | To save the place and the city or town with each photograph. This is written into the photo's own metadata and stays with the photo. You can decline, or turn Location off in Lumar's Settings at any time. |
All of this happens on your device. You can review or withdraw any permission in the iPhone Settings app, under Lumar.
Diagnostics
Lumar keeps a technical log on your iPhone to help find faults. It is never sent automatically. If you choose Report an Issue or Send Diagnostics, Lumar prepares a file containing that log, the app version, your iPhone model and iOS version, and you decide whether to email or share it. If you do, the developer receives the file and your email address, and uses them only to investigate and reply to your report.
Children
Lumar does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
